LT. Col. (R) Datuk Dr. Senasi Annamalai is a dedicated and compassionate surgeon with over 30 years of experience in general surgery and gastroenterology. He is known for his patient-first approach, careful assessments and ability to build trust and reassurance with those under his care.
Coming from humble beginnings in Bukit Asahan Estate, Malacca, his journey reflects resilience and determination. He obtained his medical degree from Thanjavur Medical College in India in 1973 and went on to serve as a Senior Armed Forces Surgeon, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His years of service have shaped his disciplined, attentive and caring approach to patient care.

For Datuk Dr. Senasi, medicine is more than a career, it is a lifelong calling shaped by service, discipline and compassion. With a strong foundation in both surgical care and military service, he finds purpose in treating patients, managing complex conditions and helping individuals regain their health and quality of life.
Having served as a Senior Armed Forces Surgeon, his experience extends beyond clinical practice to caring for patients in demanding and high-pressure environments. This has strengthened his calm, focused approach and deep sense of responsibility towards every patient he treats.
He also believes in educating patients about their health — encouraging them to understand their conditions, recognise symptoms early and make informed decisions about their treatment and wellbeing.
